My name is Kami Gallagher. I am currently a junior at the University of Oklahoma where I study journalism and Spanish. Growing up with computers all my life has made technology something very common and comfortable for me. I believe the media worlds are quickly headed towards an all multimedia generation which I am excited to be a part of in the future.

Project Ideas
For this project, I think it would be interesting to look at the different political clubs we have on campus including (if there is one) the independent groups etc. I would like to conduct interviews with the group members as well as the leaders of these groups such as the presidents and/or committee members. How are they encouraging young people to vote in this upcoming historic election? How many active members are in each group? What do they discuss at their gatherings, etc. I think this would be an interesting topic to investigate because of the candidates in this election in particular.
I also think taking a closer look at the Pride of Oklahoma would be an interesting topic. How many hours do they practice a week? Are they all music majors? How many different shows do they do every year? Do they have to audition for a spot in the Pride? Why did they want to join the Pride?
